Dr Eduardo Valdez is an experienced and compassionate dentist who is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalised, evidence-based care. With more than 20 years of clinical experience, he is known for his gentle approach, attention to detail and ability to make patients feel comfortable throughout their dental journey.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), Brazil, in 2004, Dr Eduardo established and successfully operated his own private practice for over a decade. During this time, he developed extensive experience across all areas of general dentistry, with particular interests in aesthetic dentistry, prosthodontics, implant dentistry and comprehensive restorative care.
Passionate about lifelong learning, Dr Eduardo completed postgraduate training in Implant Dentistry at PUCRS before undertaking a Master of Philosophy in Biomedical Gerontology in Brazil. He later completed a second Master of Philosophy in Geriatric Dentistry at the University of Sydney, where he was awarded a research scholarship. His research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals, reflecting his commitment to delivering the highest standard of evidence-based dental care.
Following successful completion of the Australian Dental Council (ADC) accreditation process, Dr Eduardo has continued his career in Australia, combining decades of clinical experience with the latest techniques and technology to provide comprehensive, patient-centred treatment.
Dr Eduardo enjoys every aspect of general dentistry and provides a wide range of treatments, including check-ups and cleans, preventive dentistry, fillings, teeth whitening, crowns and bridges, veneers, root canal treatment, extractions, dentures and dental implants. He has a particular passion for helping anxious patients feel at ease and believes that building trust is the foundation of exceptional dental care.
Outside of dentistry, Eduardo enjoys surfing, exploring Sydney’s beautiful coastline and spending quality time with his wife and young daughter.
